Rev. Lawrence J. Harris was chosen to be a healer. He was a successful businessman and accountant, when most of his life fell apart. Partly for something to do, he started teaching people about energy awareness, which he studied many years before. About that same time, he started receiving dreams and visions about how to heal himself and his life. After some time of resistance, he started to use them. The techniques were effective, so he began to facilitate others in their own healing as well.

He calls this program Transformational Energy Release™. He is a talented energy healing facilitator, a recognized speaker, an ordained minister, and the founder of the Transformational Energy Institute™.

My Story

In August of 1992, three events happened that changed my life.  I did not know the extent of where it would led me, and had no idea that it would put me on a spiritual path.  During those difficult thirty days, I started going through a divorce, my business went under due to breach of contract and my father started dying.  Needless to say, I was depressed. 

The depression lasted for months and I did everything to get rid of it including going to a psychologist.  I soon discovered that nothing was working and decided to go back to yoga and do my best to work my way out of it.  I called the yoga teacher and spoke to his wife, a phenomenally wonderful and loving person named Mary.  She said that she didn’t think I required yoga and requested that I go over there.  Looking for anything that would help, I went. 

Upon arriving, we chatted for a few minutes and then she told me to lie down on the couch.  She sat in a chair across the narrow room and nothing was said for two hours.  She then told me she was done and I got up.  To my amazement, my depression was gone and I felt normal again. I instantly asked her what she had done and she replied that she would not tell me but guided me to where I could start to learn about what happened. 

She sent me to the Psychic Studies Institute in Houston, Texas, where we lived and I took a ten week course in energy.  My teachers were fantastic and after five weeks of thinking everyone there was nuts, I started to feel energy.  During this time period, Mary started going through a divorce and we became good friends.  She would frequently do her energetic mastery on me to assist in clearing up my density.  As I look back, I realize my energy was extremely dense and it was through Mary’s unconditional love that I was assisted. 

The economy in Houston was at rock bottom and I was forced to find employment elsewhere.  I went to Austin where I did some studies in the metaphysical area and then moved to Cleveland, Ohio where I found a void in this new metaphysical world I was discovering.  After about 18 months there, I realized my dislike for the climate and living environment and moved to Florida to assist my mother who was living alone after my father passed.  This move to Cleveland started about a ten year void in my learning and development in the spiritual area. 

Florida proved financially very difficult for me as the area of business I was working in took a huge hit after the market crash of October 1987.  I could not find a job through the whole state in commercial real estate mortgage banking.  Nothing was available as the market dried up and lending was at a bare minimum.  I did a few deals myself, consulted other mortgage companies and finally took a job in my prior profession as a CPA.  Upon accepting the job, for the need of money, I felt an immediate pain in my stomach.  A forewarning of what I was to experience at that job, the worst one I have ever had. 

It was during this job that something started stirring in me.  My desire to work with energy kept coming to me.  I discovered that my teachers from Texas wrote a book, the Psychic Energy Workbook, which I soon bought.  My class notes were insufficient to teach or learn from so I requested of them the permission to use the book to teach from.  Being granted permission, I got a few people together and started teaching them about energy. During this time, my energy skills grew much stronger and I started going through another phase of change. 

During the next two years, nothing I touched in business worked out.  My financial resources dwindled until I was broke.  The interesting aspect of these two years was that I started receiving dreams and visions of energy work that I had never seen or encountered.  I would do the exercises on myself and was amazed at the shifts it would create. 

After two years of financial disaster, I finally looked up and said, “OK, I’ll do it”.  I felt and immediate change in the energy in and around me and I was on my way to be an energy teacher and healer.  I realized that this was Creator’s way of getting my attention for when everything is taken away, the only thing you have left is Creator.  I then realized that I have everything.
